William joined White Oak Commercial in September 2015 after spending three years in Denver, Colorado, where he worked for Transwestern Commercial Services in the asset management department. During his time at Transwestern, William gained valuable experience managing Class A office buildings, industrial properties, and retail shopping centers.
Today, William serves as Managing Partner of White Oak Commercial and oversees the firm’s property management division. He specializes in investment sales, land development transactions, buyer and seller representation, and tenant and landlord leasing.
Over the course of his career, William has represented a diverse range of clients across virtually every commercial property type. His expertise is particularly focused on investment sales and land development opportunities throughout the Triangle region and across North Carolina. With a deep understanding of market dynamics and a commitment to long-term client relationships, William helps property owners, investors, developers, and business owners navigate complex commercial real estate transactions with confidence.
Known for his strategic and solutions-oriented approach, William works closely with clients to maximize asset value, mitigate risk, and achieve their investment objectives. From initial valuation and marketing through due diligence and closing, he brings transparency, responsiveness, and integrity to every transaction. His experience throughout Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Wake County, Johnston County, and surrounding markets provides clients with valuable insight into emerging opportunities and regional growth trends.
William is committed to serving his community and currently serves on the board of the Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs. He is a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church and has held leadership positions with several local organizations, including My Kid’s Club in Johnston County and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR), where he served as President in 2024.
William graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and is a proud Tar Heel. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their daughters, Anna Sackett and Sally, as well as following sports, grilling in the backyard, and spending time with the family’s two dogs, Cheese and Dax.
